[ACTION: Are you new in town? Wandering around looking lost? Staring and gawking at the drones and identical houses with a growing look of dread across your face?

If so, a tall teenager will shyly approach you. He's carrying a newspaper bag, but instead of the daily news, there are pamphlets poking out. He has a quiet voice and a light Irish accent.]

Ah, um, excuse me. Couldn't help but notice that you, um, seem to be feeling your out of place. I can explain, if you's like.

Um.

N-No one's seriously considering the position of police chief, right? It's so suspicious... what if you get droned into the role, like Grad-- er, Evan Olney probably was?

[Recovering from the Independence Day incident wasn't easy. Crowe still had nightmares the last few days that, while fading now, were hard to shake. That feeling of being two people in one was unsettling, not knowing which was right.

At least his room has a lot of reminders of which Calleo was the right one. All his things from home, all the photos he's taken with is friends in Mayfield. Those notes from Lucas. That goofy hat Kay and Adolph found in the western town. The pendant from Norway. His extensive journal chronicling his time here, all the horrid events Mayfield has put him through. A journal he is now writing in, filling in the details of July Fourth, and the body of Jane Smith, also known as Samantha Achewood.

Once he's done, he'll place a call to the town. Filtered from the usual NPCs:]

Hi everyone. Um. I-I know it's been a difficult week, but we need to try to understand what happened. I think... I-I was wondering, maybe we should have some sort of town meeting? I know we have the pamphlets, but I think it would be good to get everyone together to discuss things that have happened in this town. Get everyone up to speed, let them know what we're dealing with, answer questions, share information... We're all in this together, right? Whether you want to go home or not, I-I think we can all agree that, at the very least, we'd like to get to the bottom of this place so that, um, e-even if we can't go home, we really can make this a decent place to live.

[Later, Crowe's out and about with his camera. He hasn't taken it up in awhile, and with this great summer weather, the town is crawling with people. He wants to clear his head, and take some fun pictures for the collection. His mission: to record the non-droned people in this town. He keeps a large photo album with names with people's names. It's a nice record of the people as they should be, before Mayfield brainwashes them. You might find him trying to snap some candid photos. Care to pose, or are you photo-shy? Crowe's a good climber, so you also might find him sitting in high tree branches, on your rooftop, at the peak of Makeout Point - anywhere he can get a cool shot. Come bug him!]

[Action: At the school

A bewildered Crowe stands outside the drama room, looking at the list of names of those who were cast in the school musical.

His name is on there... as a named character role. He had gone to the tryouts thinking he could be on crew, or someone in the background.

Crowe has never acted. He's never danced. He has no idea how to sing.

He's just staring at the list, stunned. Anyone passing by can hear him muttering to himself.]

O-Oh God this can't be... i-is this right?!

Ah, um... So, uh, does anyone out there know anything about acting, o-or singing, or anything like that? I, um, could use some help. Quite badly.

Crowe's out and about with his camera again! So many new people have rolled into town, that he had a lot of catching up to do. After talking to Lucas about this project again, he realized how important it was to have something like a photo gallery He already had two rolls of film's worth of photos of his friends and acquaintances from around Mayfield, and planned to take as many more as he could. You'll find Crowe today snapping photos of passersby, or scenes at the park. He'll also be stopping his friends and anyone who doesn't look like a drone, to see if you'd like to pose for a picture for his collection! Occasionally he'll take out his recently regained iPhone and snap a photo with it. While he was glad to have it back, there also wasn't too much else he could do with it in Mayfield.

He'll also be wandering around the stores downtown, looking at some of the displays that are already up for Valentine's Day. It seemed like Christmas was just yesterday. Time moved fast in this town. He'll be lingering outside the windows of gift shops and the bakery, looking thoughtful. Feel free to bug him any time he's out!]

A lot of people have come into town recently. This is pretty odd, considering they usually trickle in instead of coming in so close together... it makes me wonder what are captors are up to.

At any rate, ah, to all the new people out there? My name is Crowe, and if you need any help, let me know. I've been here a long time now, so I can fill you in on any details if you like. There's also a pamphlet available if you haven't seen it. I know some others have been handing them out, and I've been leaving them in mailboxes as well. If you need anything, don't hesitate to ask. It's fair that everyone who comes into this town knows what they've been brought into. Valentine's Day is coming up next month, and ah, things tend to get a bit ugly around holidays here. Don't trust anything the town just drops off in your house overnight, alright?

[Action! Crowe will be found at the park today, despite the snow and cold, as he hates being inside so much. He'll be out today practicing the tae kwon do he's been learning from Taiwan in a clearing he's made in the snow. He's still new at it, but he's in good shape and a dedicated student, so he's doing pretty well. Care to interrupt/say hi/challenge?]

I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm not voting. I've torn my ballot up and thrown it away. Enough of this nonsense, yeah? I'm tired of them taking us for fools all the time.

Um. Anyway. Happy new year, everyone. January already... I suppose that means I'll be turning 17 soon.

[Sure, Crowe doesn't trust the ballots and their intent, for obvious reasons. But he's got another problem on his hands - he actually doesn't know what to vote for. He hates Mayfield, but so many of the people here meant a lot to him. He rally isn't sure what he wants to do. So how's he going to deal with this problem? By ignoring it completely! What a great idea.]

[Action:

Today Crowe will be found on his lawn, building a snow fort! It's getting very large and complicated, taking up most of the lawn, and he's building different rooms in it. He's not sure where he's going with it, but keeping him occupied. He's even started taking snow from the other yards on Williams Road to keep this thing going. Care to investigate/help/harass?

Later, in the evening, he'll be sitting inside it, all huddled up in some warm clothes and blankets. He has a lantern and he's reading a book. He built this fort, and now he might as well use it.]

[So Mayfield, are you sick of this kid yet? He's all over town again today, a man on a mission. He's knocking on your door, actually! Drones or no drones, he's asking to speak with the adults in the house. He puts on his most charming smile and offers up a proposal!]

Hello! Um. I was wondering if there was anything you might need help with. Chores and the like. See, Christmas is coming up soon, and the paper route I have doesn't exactly pay well, and I have some gifts to buy... so, if there's anything you need help with, I'd be glad to do whatever I can.
