[Crowe's hit stage four, though like most, he doesn't realize this. He's frustrated beyond belief with this little event, and makes a call that starts out as some venting with innocent enough intentions. He's been telling people all the bad things about himself, and learning things about his friends in town he isn't sure how to deal with. Surely, not everyone in town is a murderer or something, right? There has to be other things we can all confess that aren't as harmful. Unfortunately, he starts to fly off the handle thanks to the effect.

What comes over the phone is pretty much one long run-on string of nonsense.]

L-Look, Mayfield, n-not everyone in town can h-have such terrible things to admit, r-right? I'm so sick of all this! I know we all want to admit things, s-so why don't we just pick stupid things? L-Like things that any people might be hiding, n-not stuff like murder a-and death and...

W-Well, like... Like how our drone mother's cooking was a-actually really bad but I felt bad telling her. Plus I'm not very good at cooking anyway. O-Or how I am failing art class both back home and in Mayfield because I-I can't draw to save my life! I-I also really hate clothes shopping. M-My friend Minnie always said I was a boring dresser, but I don't care. A-Also once right after I got here, I stole a bunch of wallets from people j-just to see who was paying attention and who wasn't. B-But I don't want to do stuff like that! I don't think. I-I'm really good at it but I think I want to be a-a detective, but my parents won't approve. Criminals w-won't want a detective for a son! My dad wants me to b-be a thief with them o-or be a pro footballer, but I-I don't think I'd be good at that. I've never been in a league before! S-Sometimes, when I get really mad, I-I curse in Italian, but I can't help it, i-it just happens. I-I think Silence i-is one the most gorgeous guy I have ever seen, t-to the point where I don't even know h-how to talk to him! A-All the nations a-are really cute too, b-but I thought about it, a-and that makes sense, I-I mean i-it would be hard to have pride i-in your nation if they had l-like buck teeth or something! A-And I always thought Norway w-was the cutest and that reminds me, I-I am g-getting really sick of everyone I know getting droned a-and coming back forgetting who I a-am! Also h-have I told a-any of you how much I stammer wh-when I'm nervous and how bloody sick of that I am--

[There's a horrified squeaking noise heard from Crowe, and the phone is abruptly hung up.]

[Phone:]

To anyone new in town, it's good for you to know that things like last night's radio broadcast are common here, and it's just being used to scare us. Don't let it get to you, but don't be completely off your guard, either. Something bad is bound to happen in the next few days, and it's best that you keep on your toes, and let us all know if you see something strange or dangerous.

[A frustrated sigh.] Despite all that... everyone try to have a merry Christmas, yeah?

[Filtered to: Norway]
Ah, I have a feeling things are going to get bad before Christmas Eve. Um. I-If it's not too much trouble, I have a gift for you that I-I'd like to drop off, if that okay.

[Action:

Crowe is going from house to house, visiting all his friends. He's actually very happy that he has so many houses to stop at. He really hopes everyone will stay safe this time around...

Pretty much everyone Crowe's met is getting some homemade cookies, so feel free to say he stopped by to see you! He'll even be stopping at the Captain's house to make a delivery, and to Kira Kashino's to thank her for her help the other day.]

[Action - daytime

Crowe's been pretty quiet the last few days, but he's starting to come around. He's a little concerned what might happen at Christmas now, and it's coming up fast. Even though he's not sure why, he had sent in a letter to Santa asking for a peaceful Christmas, but he knows it's just wishful thinking.

Today Crowe is out about town shopping. You may see him:
1) Buying baking supplies! He's been making Christmas cookies as gifts and didn't realize he needed a lot more than he originally thought. He's feeling more confident in this baking thing! Maybe he can try cooking next, since no one else in his house does... so you'll also find him looking over basic cooking supplies and utensils, looking a bit lost.

2) Buying arts and crafts items! Pretty weird for this guy. Anyone paying close enough attention will see he's getting some leather cords, claps, some paint and brushes, and some small bits of wood. He looks even more overwhelmed here than at the grocery store.

3) Returning something at one of the stores - a fancy picture frame - and looking positively morose about it.

or 4) Out with his camera, taking photos of people passing by, all the Christmas decorations and letter boxes, even some of Christmas Village. Care to have your photo snapped?]

[Action- nighttime

It seems like everyone in town is getting an early Christmas present tonight! Crowe's glad he can use his abilities for good, and when he was approached by someone in town asking if he could stealthily and anonymously deliver gifts to everyone in town, he accepted. It's a big job, so he'll be out all night, starting at about 11PM. He'll be silently dropping off small packages to every non-drone in town, little red bags of candy with an origami dove attached will be left on your porch. The note on it says "NOT from Mayfield - Happy Holidays!" Maybe some of you recognize the handwriting. It's up to you whether you trust it or not, though! If he's doing it right, you won't even see him. But you might catch a glimpse of someone darting by a window outside, or disappearing around a corner.

While he's out doing this, a special stop will be made at 1489 Kramden. A certain bedroom window will have one of the bags of candy dropped off at it, as well as a small bag of cookies with a different note attached. H-Hey, Norway seemed to get a kick of of the last time Crowe pulled a stunt like this, so why not...?

Closer to sunrise, he'll be sitting on his own porch at 1247 Williams despite the cold, drinking some warm tea and waiting for his papers to arrive. After delivering them, he had Germany's training session... now if he could only sleep.]

[First, a call!]

Um, i-is everyone alright out there? I-I know a lot of people were acting weird the last few days... i-it wasn't anything like with the tea party incident, was it? Just, ah, making sure.

[And then, action!

Crowe's been hard to find the last few days after school and practice. Why? He's on some stake-outs, and one of the only things he's really really good at is being unseen. He's great at moving silently and traveling in shadows like a good thief, and he wishes to keep his skills sharp. Plus, he has work to do for Olivier.

You might see him if you're good at finding oversized ninjas hiding in shadows and trees, but otherwise, forget it. He's spending his time by keeping an eye on City Hall, the Police Station, and the Dairy. He doesn't expect to see anything, but he's doing as instructed. With his Night Watch duties with Vimes and his usual insomnia (he's STILL camping in the park thanks to Mukuro, and it's starting to get a bit cold at night), he's not getting much sleep again.

So the usual attentive teacher's pet is falling asleep during classes. Teachers, care to throw some chalk at his head? Embarrass him in front of everyone? Students, care to throw paper planes at his head? draw on his face? Or maybe kindly wake him up?]

[Residents of 1247 Williams may notice the car is gone, and it's not dear old not-dad who's driving it about the neighborhood like a maniac today. Actually, it's Crowe driving it about the neighborhood like your grandma on Sunday.

He had a few weeks of driver's ed back home, and studied up on it while here in Mayfield. But he's never been behind the wheel before. And, well, being Crowe, he doesn't want to be a bother and make anyone have to teach him, so he's decided to get some practice. How hard could it be? It seemed simple enough, right?

Yeah, right.

It's not going so well for him, but he's not giving up yet! He can be found in several places today driving around town:

- blocking up traffic driving SUPER SLOW. He's too afraid to take it over 25 or so. When someone honks at him, he makes a squeaking noise, speeds up for a few seconds before slowing down again.
- taking a turn too sharp or too wide, and running into various things, or....people?! Look out, innocent bystanders! He'll miss the occasional traffic sign, too focused on driving.
- The family car has seen better days since dear ol' Milkman Dan has gotten into town, and occasionally there's some malfunctioning. Maybe the bumper as fallen off, perhaps the radiator has started to spout steam. Nothing to panic over, right? Except this is Crowe. Of course there's some panicking.
- attempting to parallel park. OH THE HUMANITY. Pray that's not your car he's parking by.
- a surprise empty whiskey bottle has rolled out from under the seat and lodged itself under the pedals. From within the car can be heard "OhGodOhGodOhGod---!" Better get out of his way, Mayfield!]

[Skipping school, skipping practice, skipping everything that isn't complete devotion to helping people get out of Westport, a tired and haggard Crowe can be found around town at the shops, trying to buy a two-way radio, or any other radio equipment.

Too bad he has no idea what he's doing with it.]

[Call to all non-drones, a tired and somewhat desperate voice comes to you all.]

Um. D-does anyone know anything about radios? I-I'm not much of a tech-savvy person and... well to me, this stuff's really outdated, so... I- could use some help here. I-I think Mr. America took all the tools fmo our garage... Um. I want to see if there's any way we can get two-way communication going with Westport. Would anyone be able to help me?

---

[Filtered call to: Massimo, Seychelles and Adolf.]

Ah. Did you all received invitations from Mr. Crane on the book club? I-if you're interested in helping out the town with any issues, y-you should come. Mr. Crane is pretty clever, so I'm sure that it'll be... interesting to say the least.
