[Today in the park, Crowe can be seeing leaping about trees! Well, sort of. He's climbing up and down them as fast as he can, timing himself as he does so with a stopwatch. He's pretty fluid, and after a few runs in one tree, he has it down to a matter of seconds. Once he accomplishes that, he moves on to the next one, doing the same. He looks exhausted, but pleased once he checks his times. He's breaking his old records.

Later, he'll be found practicing a tightrope walk. He's just using a regular rope tied between two trees for now, only a few feet off the ground. He does alright but he's new at this, and falls off a lot. Most of the time he manages to land on his feet, but he does slip on occasion. But he'll get back up and try, try again. Practice makes perfect.

Crowe's been a bit closed off from everyone lately, thanks to basically living at the park. And after the droning of three of his friends in a short amount of time - the hardest on him being Massimo's - he wonders if he should have listened to Ichobod's advice from many months back about not making too many friends here. It didn't make things any easier when this happened.

Of course, this doesn't mean he isn't free for talking/ridicule/question what the hell he's up to since he's in a public park.]

[Yeah Mayfield is boring like that. To the point where kids failing to tightrope walk is entertainment. He'll be surprised though once he notices he's being watched, then slips off. He at least lands on his feet, but he looks a bit embarrassed.]

[Crowe jumps down out of a tree, pulls the stopwatch from his pocket and clicks it. He grins at it.]

Alright! A new record.

[When turns around to head to the next tree, he sees he's being watched. Good lord that guy is enormous, what the crap. He blinks at you for a moment before chuckling a little nervously.]

Ah. H-hi there. I, uh, beat my old time. 24 seconds.

[Aisling's considerably more cheerful after getting her leg back, so she's also back to tree climbing. Crowe may hear giggling from somewhere in the leaves.]

[He starts going from branch to branch now, poking through the leaves to try and track her down. He's got a good instinct for it, but catching a fairy is tough work.]

[Crowe wobbles a bit on the rope, but he manages to keep on for now!]

Ah! Um. N-no, but that would be good too, eh? Just... [wobblewobble] working on my balance. I-I'm new at it though.

Oh. They do that at the circus too. I know because I went to the circus once.

[She continues, because clearly he isn't busy and doesn't need to concentrate or anything.]

They had an elephant and some clowns and some guys walking on ropes.

[She cocks her head to one side and studies his set up.]

But their rope was higher up. Much higher.

[He finally wobbles enough that he needs to jump off before he falls.]

Well, considering how many times I fall of this thing, I don't think it would be good to start high up, eh? I know this isn't very impressive. Maybe someday once when I get better at it, I can try something higher.

[And here's another kid doing some weird stunt, for him it's hand walking. He's walking about and decided to visit the park, when he saw a guy walking on a tightrope.

He just stares at the moment.]

[Crowe's trying to concentrate, but he sees someone out of the corner of his eye - and that someone is walking on their hands. He stares back for a second but it's enough for him to lose his balance, and he has to jump down. He sighs at himself.]

[Margot's out scouting out the park when she spots Crowe scrambling up and down the trees.

She just kinda of watches for a while, stupefied.]

Er. Crowe. What are you doing?

[When he gets to the bottom, he stops, catching his breath.]

Oh, uh, hey Margot. Um. Practicing? Seeing how fast I can climb up and down. I've gotten a lot faster!
