[Call/message filtered from Margot (Crowe feels she's upset enough already) to all non-drones. No one Crowe knows had been droned until now and he's having a hard time dealing with it.]


Does... does the town often drone people for no reason? This is... this is... I don't even know. How can this happen? Nadia was one of the nicest people in town, she... she never bothered anyone, never hurt anyone..._{it's not fair... what if she doesn't...}

I-I mean is that it then? Even if we DO get along with this town and its rules, we might just droned anyway?! For no reason whatsoever? Am I just supposed to sit around and wait for them to brainwash the rest of us permanently too? I don't get it! What do they want from us?! What are we supposed to do?


[There's a pause as he sighs and rubs his forehead.]

[The phone is hung up.]

I'm starting to wonder if they do this to break everyone's spirits. They've been hitting people who everyone will miss and no one would suspect.

How are you holding up with all of this?

[Sniper rarely had to be responsible for others. The rest of BLU could take care of themselves. But now he had an entire street to watch fall apart.]

[Crowe narrowed his eyes a bit at Sniper. He still didn't really trust him much.]

I'll... be fine. This happens often enough, I guess until now it's not been anyone I was good friends with. I guess perhaps I should stop making friends or this will just keep happening. [He folds his arms on the table and rests his chin on them. Crowe pouting is a rare sight.]

[He either didn't notice or didn't mind. Though if anyone knew Sniper well, they'd probably assume the latter.]

It's happened a few times already to those I liked here.

You can't stop making friends here, the town just wants you to stop being who you are. It won't stop happening just because you stop caring. The town will just find some other way to get at you.

That's what I'm afraid of. I feel like I'm just sitting here until the same thing happens to me and everyone else I know.

Thats why you have to keep fighting. Because if they fall who else is going to get them out of here?

I'm going to keep at it, and if I fall I hope others continue and don't just leave me to this miserable trap. Though on that note...

[He fishes out a closed envelope with a letter inside. On the front says "BLU". Tossing it onto the table.]

Do me a huge favor, if I fall call for members of the Builders League United on the phone and tell them you have a letter from Sniper for them. I don't plan to let this town beat me, ever.

You'll survive this, because we will all keep fighting. If you get droned we'll continue on until we get you home safe.

Crowe blinks in surprise at the envelope. He gives it an uncertain look for a moment, then picks it up and puts it in his coat pocket.]

...I guess. I'd been so caught up in everything here that I lost sight of fighting the town. I guess this was my wake-up call.

Time for me to prepare. Same as always, if you see Grady stay far away from that place.

Also, look out for Margot. She's a willful kid but she'll suffer the most for it.
