[Action A, 846 Goldberg: Crowe wakes up in a shocked state, crawling out of the rubble and surveying the scene. He's horror-stricken for what seems like forever, when he snaps out of it and starts calling for the names of his friends. He immedaitely begins to start digging if he can't find them. After all, if Silence is trapped somewhere, he can't call out. If he doesn't find him or Lucas fast enough, anyone else who comes across him will find him in a panic as he tears through the remains, and he won't stop until he finds them.]
---
Action B, 1251 Williams: Later, Crowe will head to his assigned home to check the damage there. It's no less encouraging. All he's managed to find were the bodies of his droned housemates. He managed to pull out on of the books he was sent from home, charred but mostly intact, and sits outside on the remains of the sidewalk, looking as devestated as the city.]
---
[Action C, around town: Like a lot of people, Crowe is gathering supplies and provisions wherever he's able to find them, though things don't look too positive. He's also looking for anyone he knows, or anyone that might need help. His ultimate goal is to gather up enough materials and head to the highway, to see what it has to offer as far as a way out. Although, with this being a nuclear wasteland, he's not confident that he or the others in town will live long enough for it to matter...]

Date: 2011-11-27 01:15 am (UTC)[It is just like Westport. This whole thing seems like it was ripped from a nightmare. But they have to stay calm. And he's been thinking about this a lot since he woke up and come to several conclusions.]
I think we'll be okay. We just have to survive long enough to get through this. I don't think this will last. Things will probably go back to the way they were in a few days.

From:A; Lucas can jump in here too if he and Crowe are searching together by now~
Date: 2011-11-28 12:53 am (UTC)The fact that he's in the dark, buried under god knows what - all he can tell is that it's painfully heavy, with sharp angles, one of which is jabbing into his ribs - and that he smells smoke and blood in the air tells him that this assessment is entirely correct.
He pushes at what's pinning him down with one hand, only to find that this isn't sufficient, and that clues him in to the fact that he's not a mystic anymore; even the frailest of mystics is deceptively strong, more so if they've had blood recently...not that he has, but he should be able to move this thing regardless. He shifts as much as possible, trying to roll onto his back and free up his other arm - a task made difficult by how firmly he's pinned, and the delicate wings he can feel are still attached to his back. Even folded down as they are, lying on them is painful - almost excruciating when the weight holding him down shifts above him as he frees his shoulder, now bearing down directly on his chest.
As Silence finds he suddenly has difficulty breathing, he realizes that this was rather poor planning on his part.
Calling out for help is not an option, has never been an option for him, and so hoping for outside help doesn't even cross his mind. He has to fix this himself, or die here...pinned, not unironically, like a butterfly in a display case. But he has no intention of doing so, and with both arms free and his back under him, he has better leverage. Gritting his teeth, he braces his hands against the weight on him and begins to push, ignoring the agonizing pain as the pressure on his back all but cuts off the bloodflow to his fragile wings beneath him...and he's intensely gratified to feel the weight begin to move and shift.
An outside observer will notice some of the rubble - a large chunk of ceiling, further weighed down by chunks of plaster and a collapsed beam - shifting, very slowly and slightly, as if something were pushing up on it from beneath.]
