[Crowe manages to drag himself out of the house for school, but he's obviously just not all there mentally the next few days. He's zoning out in class, anyone who tries to talk to him might have to call his name two or three times till he hears you. He'll always do his best to put on a smile when you talk to him though, but it's a little forced.
He will be checking up on all his friends in school too, during lunch and between/after classes, making sure everyone is okay.
Getting killed twice in three days, and watching Ema, Hol, Ash and even little Pikachu get murdered by the hazmats in front of him is a hard thing to shake off. All he could do the day after was hide in his burnt-out room, so on top of all that, he was feeling somewhat ashamed of himself, and useless.
After school though, he has some calls to make.]
[Call filtered to: Ema Skye]
Ema... I just wanted to see how you were doing.
[Call filtered to: Wilhelm]
I heard your voice on that call the other day on that call... are you okay? Is it... alright if I speak with you about what happened?
[Call filtered to: Norway]
Ah, I'm going to hold you to what you said, you know. [A light chuckle.] They're playing some choice movies this weekend at the drive-in. I'm going to be there, if you care to join.
[Later that night, Crowe can be found at the drive-in, sitting on the hood of his not!family's car, bundled up in a blanket. The movie in question is Teenagers from Outer Space - pretty much the worst of the worst. As much as he was glad none of his friends from home were suffering through living in Mayfield, it made him miss his friend Clyde, who ate up bad movies like this. He would have loved this one. If you happen to be by the theater, feel free to join him.]
[[OOC - This mun is also going to the DC rally for the weekend! Tagging might be slow between Fri. night & Sun. night, sorry! ALSO, I will stop spamming entries with him after this, orz]]

Date: 2010-10-29 02:31 pm (UTC)[He looks sort of awkard here, because this is way out of his comfort zone.]
I have no idea what to do instead. Any ideas?

Date: 2010-10-29 02:47 pm (UTC)[He pauses.]
Right now it's just me and drones at home anyway. It's not very interesting.
[And pauses again.]
Movies, huh?

Date: 2010-10-29 03:07 pm (UTC)Mm, yeah. They pretty much always play the same things, but... it's almost Halloween. I figured I'd go see a horror movie.

Date: 2010-10-29 03:11 pm (UTC)Mm. I didn't know we had those here. I love horror movies.

Date: 2010-10-29 03:18 pm (UTC)Ah, well, they play pretty much only the worst horror movies, I think. But those are fun too. Do you want to go?

Date: 2010-10-29 03:37 pm (UTC)You mean with you?

Alright.

Date: 2010-10-29 04:55 pm (UTC)Ah, great. I'll be there tonight then. The drive-in. I'll meet you there? You can invite someone along, if you want... the more, the merrier, yeah?

Date: 2010-10-29 05:14 pm (UTC)He wants to see if it's possible to co-exist with people without hating them.]
I'll come alone.
[And with that, he just turns and gives a rather empty backwards wave, not looking back as he walks off.]

Date: 2010-10-29 05:17 pm (UTC)Ah, okay, I...see you then?
[He really just doesn't know what to make of you, sometimes.]

Date: 2010-10-29 05:29 pm (UTC)Like, right next to him. He's gotten very good at being difficult to detect, so it seems like he's just appeared, leaning on the car.]
Hello.

Date: 2010-10-29 05:35 pm (UTC)A-ah! Oh, Chouno... ha, you could have given me a heart attack.

Date: 2010-10-29 06:21 pm (UTC)Nonsense. Besides, this is a horror movie. You came to be scared, right?
no subject
Date: 2010-10-29 06:29 pm (UTC)Ah, this movie? It wouldn't scare anyone. It's pretty terrible.
no subject
Date: 2010-10-29 06:32 pm (UTC)A poor choice of words, considering terrible means to bring terror.
What have I missed?
no subject
Date: 2010-10-29 06:50 pm (UTC)Um, the main character is, well, a tennager from outer space. That other guy is trying to hunt him down. He has a ray gun that turns people into skeletons. Ah, admittedly I haven't been paying the best attention, but I don't think it quite matters.

Date: 2010-10-29 07:05 pm (UTC)Hm. Fairly standard, I suppose.

Date: 2010-10-29 07:23 pm (UTC)Oh. Well, appreciating bad things helps you deal with them.
no subject
Date: 2010-10-29 07:45 pm (UTC)Ah, well I don't know if that's the reason when it comes to bad movies. It's not like anyone forces them on you.
Well, this town sort of does... we don't get much selection here. Same films over and over....

Date: 2010-10-29 07:50 pm (UTC)Hm. That's annoying...
no subject
Date: 2010-10-29 08:02 pm (UTC)It's the same movies at the regular theater too. [He frowns a bit. He's been in this town too long.] That's why I'm glad we have the blitzball team, at least. Something different and fun to do.
