He has just been hopelessly homesick since he got here, and getting an item from home sent to him only seemed to make it worse. He knows he could never handle it if they ended up here only to get hurt or brainwashed.

I believe it is meant to break our spirits. Why else would they broadcast such a message? I saw people from my own world and I have no desire to go. I have nothing to say to them. However, not everyone is going to be so distant to the ones from their worlds which is why you must be careful.

Steel your mind. Think carefully. This Westport is meant to bring us to a point where we will discuss openly our individual plans. It is nothing more than a ruse.
